We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test the site with automated checks and by hand, and we fix problems as we find them.

What we have done

• Our main pages have clear headings, page landmarks and a “Skip to content” link.
• Everything on the site works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
• Meaningful images have text alternatives.
• Text and form fields are designed to meet WCAG color-contrast requirements.
• Form fields have labels, and errors are explained in text.
• Animations are turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.

Known limitations

Some websites we link to, such as the sources of our statistics, are run by others and may not meet the same standards.
